Welcome to Sierra County, New Mexico, where we as Republicans helped to elect Susana Martinez, the first female Hispanic governor in the United States. Our county also aided in electing Dianna Duran, New Mexico's first Republican Secretary of State in over 80 years.
Sierra County is home to the world's first purpose-built commercial spaceport,Virgin Galactic's Spaceport America. Sierra County is also well-known for its trophy elk hunting and fishing, and where Billy the Kid once roamed…even stopping to soak in our famous hot springs!
The State Republican Party is dependent on the grassroots involvement and success of each county party. It is incumbent on each of us as Republicans, to join together, to work together, to put aside divisive interests and utilize our strengths and talents to become the Leaders that are so needed in our County, in our State and in our Country today.
