Left-Wing
Tactics
DID
YOU KNOW?
New
Mexico was one of six states targeted, as early as 2006 by the
Proteus Fund, a group of left-wing entities. In their effort to
takeover the state, “progressives” targeted both
Republicans and Moderate Democrats. They succeeded in defeating
three Republican state senators and three representatives as well as
two Democrat senators and one representative. The “progressives”
gained control of the New Mexico House of Representatives and won
several battles in large part by the use of their “educational”
and “good government” foundations.
The “Report
on Six Emerging Collaborative State Projects” is a report
compiled by the State Strategies Fund and funded by the Proteus Fund.
In this report you will read about the left-wing plan to advance a
liberal agenda in New Mexico and defeat conservative candidates
through the use of nonprofit organizations—which use their
nonprofit status to circumvent disclosure laws.
The report
notes that “Many state organizations that began as pressure
groups to advance progressive values found themselves out-organized,
out-funded and entirely on defense by an onslaught of well
coordinated attacks from the right.” (Report pg. 1) Meanwhile,
here in New Mexico, the goal of the “progressive”
movement is to “…shape the electoral battlefield”
and recruit “…new potential candidates and campaign
staffers…” The “progressive” agenda is
clear: “… [To] aggressively educate and persuade likely
voters with their policies, values and messages.” (Report pg.
6)
